Setup

Installation guide

We support all IPTV apps that are compatible with M3U, Xtream Codes, Enigma2, and Portal URL (Mag box). The 4K player app is exclusively available for VIP 4K ULTIMATE on Android systems (including Fire TV), Smart TVs, and Windows. For other devices, please follow the guide below

1. Choose an IPTV Player

You need an app to “play” your IPTV link. Go to the Google Play Store and download one of these popular options:

  • TiviMate (Highly recommended for a TV-like interface)

  • IPTV Smarters Pro

  • OTT Navigator

2. Get Your Credentials

You need a subscription from a provider. They will give you one of two things:

  • M3U URL: A long web link.

  • Xtream Codes: A Username, Password, and Server URL.

3. Set Up the App

  1. Open your chosen app.

  2. Select “Add Playlist” or “Login with Xtream Codes API.”

  3. Enter your details exactly as provided by your service.

  4. Wait for the channels and EPG (Guide) to load.

💡 Quick Pro-Tips:

  • Use a VPN: Many ISPs throttle IPTV streams or block them entirely. A VPN keeps your streaming smooth and private.

  • Ethernet over Wi-Fi: If you’re using an Android Box, use a wired connection to prevent buffering at high resolutions.

1. Install a Player App

Open the Samsung App Store (Smart Hub) on your TV and search for one of these compatible players:

  • IPTV Smarters Pro (The most popular choice)

  • SmartOne IPTV

  • IBO Player

  • SET IPTV or Net IPTV

Note: Many Samsung apps offer a 7-day free trial, after which they may require a small one-time activation fee (usually around $5-$10).

2. Enter Your Credentials

Once the app is installed and opened, you will usually see a login screen. Choose the method provided by your IPTV service:

  • Xtream Codes API: Enter your Username, Password, and the Server URL.

  • M3U Playlist: You may need to go to the app’s website (e.g., siptv.app or smartone-iptv.com) on your phone or PC to “upload” your M3U link to your TV’s MAC Address.

3. Activation (If Required)

If you use an app like Smart IPTV or IBO Player, the screen will display a MAC Address (e.g., AA:BB:CC:11:22:33).

  1. Go to the app’s website on your phone.

  2. Enter your MAC address and your M3U link.

  3. Restart the app on your TV.

⚠️ Pro-Tip for Samsung Users

Samsung’s Tizen OS can sometimes be restrictive or remove IPTV apps from the store. If you find the TV interface too slow or your favorite app disappears, most pros recommend plugging an Amazon Fire Stick or Google Chromecast into the HDMI port. This gives you the full Android experience we discussed earlier.

1. Enable Developer Options

Amazon hides these settings by default.

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon) > My Fire TV.

  2. Click About.

  3. Highlight the name of your device (e.g., Fire TV Stick 4K) and click the center button 7 times until it says “You are now a developer.”

  4. Go back one screen to Developer Options.

  5. Turn ON “Apps from Unknown Sources” (or click Install Unknown Apps and set Downloader to ON once you’ve installed it in the next step).

2. Install the “Downloader” App

  1. Go back to the Home screen and select Find (magnifying glass).

  2. Search for Downloader (orange icon).

  3. Download and install it.

3. Install your IPTV Player

Open the Downloader app and enter one of these “Short Codes” in the URL box to download a player directly:

  • TiviMate: 278077 (Top choice for Fire Stick)

  • IPTV Smarters Pro: 730116

  • XCIPTV: 549628

[!IMPORTANT] New 2025/2026 Models: If you have the newer Fire TV Stick 4K Select, it may run on “Vega OS” (Linux-based) rather than Android. If your device doesn’t allow these APK installs, you’ll have to stick to apps found directly in the Amazon Appstore like Smart IPTV.

4. Enter Your Details

Once the app is installed:

  1. Open it and choose Xtream Codes API (the most stable method).

  2. Enter the Username, Password, and URL from your provider.

  3. Name the playlist (e.g., “MyTV”) and click Login.

🛡️ Why you need a VPN on Fire Stick

Fire Sticks are notorious for being monitored by ISPs. If you experience “buffering” only on certain channels or during big sports games, your ISP is likely throttling you. Using a VPN (like Surfshark or NordVPN) usually fixes this instantly.

1. Install a Player App

The “Gold Standard” for Android TV is TiviMate. It is designed specifically for TV remotes.

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your TV.

  2. Search for TiviMate IPTV Player.

  3. Click Install.

Other great options in the Play Store: IPTV Smarters Pro, OTT Navigator, or Televizo.

2. Prepare Your Credentials

Your provider should have sent you a link or login. The Xtream Codes method is much easier to type with a TV remote than a long M3U URL.

  • Server URL: http://example.com:8080

  • Username: yourname

  • Password: yourpass

3. Set Up TiviMate

  1. Open TiviMate.

  2. Select Add Playlist.

  3. Choose Xtream Codes login.

  4. Enter your Server URL, Username, and Password.

  5. Click Next and wait for the channels to download.

🛠️ Advanced: Sideloading (If an app is missing)

If you can’t find a specific app in your region’s Play Store, you can “sideload” it:

  1. Install the Downloader app from the Play Store.

  2. Enable Developer Options: Go to Settings > Device Preferences > About > Click “Build” 7 times.

  3. Go to Settings > Apps > Security & Restrictions > Unknown Sources and turn it ON for the Downloader app.

  4. Open Downloader and enter the app’s direct download code (e.g., 278077 for TiviMate).

1. Install a Player App

Search for one of these in the LG Content Store:

  • IPTV Smarters Pro (Best overall & free)

  • IBO Player Pro (Great interface, paid after 7-day trial)

  • SmartOne IPTV (Stable, paid after trial)

  • Nanomid (Advanced, paid after trial)

2. Setting Up (The “MAC Address” Method)

Many LG apps don’t let you type the long M3U link on the TV. Instead, they use a MAC Address sync:

  1. Open the app on your TV.

  2. Look for a MAC Address (e.g., 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX) or a Device ID on the screen.

  3. On your phone or PC, go to the app’s official website (e.g., iboproplayer.com or smartone-iptv.com).

  4. Enter your MAC Address and paste your M3U link or Xtream Codes into their web form.

  5. Click Save/Send and restart the app on your TV.

3. Direct Login (If available)

If you downloaded IPTV Smarters Pro:

  1. Choose “Login with Xtream Codes API.”

  2. Type your Username, Password, and Server URL using the on-screen keyboard.

  3. Click Add User.

1. Find Your MAC Address

Your provider needs your box’s ID to authorize you.

  • Look at the bottom of your MAG box.

  • Find the sticker with the MAC Address (starts with 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX).

  • Send this MAC address to your IPTV provider so they can activate your line.

2. Configure the Portal

Once your provider confirms activation, follow these steps:

  1. Unplug power and plug it back in. When you see the “Loading” screen, press the SET/SETUP button on your remote to enter the “Inner Portal.”

  2. Select System Settings.

  3. Select Servers.

  4. Select Portals.

  5. Portal 1 Name: Type something like IPTV (use the keyboard button on the remote).

  6. Portal 1 URL: Type the Portal URL provided by your service (usually looks like http://provider-dns.com:8080/c/).

  7. Press OK to save.

3. Restart the Box

  1. Press the EXIT button on your remote until you get back to the main grey screen.

  2. Select Restart Portal or simply unplug the power and plug it back in.

  3. The box should now load a “Yellow Bar” indicating it is downloading the channels from your provider.

1. Android (Phone & TV Boxes)

  • Install Player: Search the Google Play Store for TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro.

  • Enter Details: Open the app and select “Xtream Codes API”. Enter your Server URL, Username, and Password provided by your service.

  • Finish: Click “Add User” and wait for the channels to load.

2. Fire TV Stick

  • Enable Developer Mode: Go to Settings > My Fire TV > About. Click the name of your device 7 times until you see “You are now a developer.”

  • Unlock Unknown Apps: Go back to Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options. Turn ON “Install Unknown Apps” for the Downloader app.

  • Download Player: Open the Downloader app and type code 278077 (for TiviMate) or 730116 (for Smarters).

  • Log In: Install the app and enter your Xtream Codes credentials.

3. Samsung & LG Smart TVs

  • Download App: Search your TV’s App Store for IPTV Smarters Pro or IBO Player.

  • The MAC Method: If the app asks for a MAC address, note the code shown on the screen. Go to the app’s official website on your phone, enter your MAC code, and paste your M3U link there.

  • Sync: Restart the app on your TV to see your channels.

4. Windows & Mac

  • Standard Method: Download IPTV Smarters Pro for Desktop. Open it and use your Xtream Codes login.

  • Browser Method: Many providers offer a Web Player link. Simply open that link in Chrome or Safari and log in.

  • VLC Player: Open VLC, go to Media > Open Network Stream, and paste your M3U link. Press Ctrl+L to see the channel list.

5. Apple (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV)

  • Get App: Search the App Store for IPTV Smarters Player Pro or iPlayTV (best for Apple TV).

  • Set Up: Use Xtream Codes login. Enter your Server URL, Username, and Password.

  • Cloud Sync: If using IPTVX, your login will sync across all your Apple devices automatically.

6. MAG Box (Stalker Portal)

  • Identify: Find your MAC Address on the bottom of the box (starts with 00:1A:79). Send this to your provider.

  • Configure: Go to Settings > Servers > Portals. Enter the Portal URL sent by your provider.

  • Reboot: Save and restart. A yellow loading bar will appear as channels download.

1. Top Apps for iOS & Apple TV

  • IPTV Smarters Player Pro: The most popular choice for iPhone and Apple TV. It’s clean and supports all formats.

  • iPlayTV (Apple TV Only): Widely considered the “TiviMate of Apple TV.” It has a premium, high-end interface.

  • GSE Smart IPTV: A classic, very powerful choice with lots of manual settings.

  • IPTVX: A very modern, Netflix-style interface that syncs across all your Apple devices via iCloud.

2. Setup via IPTV Smarters (Most Common)

  1. Open the App Store and download IPTV Smarters Player Pro (or “Smarters Player Lite”).

  2. Open the app and accept the terms.

  3. Select “Login with Xtream Codes API” (recommended).

  4. Enter your credentials:

    • Any Name: My IPTV

    • Username: your_username

    • Password: your_password

    • URL: http://provider-url.com:8080

  5. Tap Add User and wait for the channels to load.

3. Setup via iPlayTV (Best for Apple TV 4K)

If you are on an Apple TV box, this app is worth the few dollars:

  1. Open iPlayTV and click Add Playlist.

  2. Choose Xtream Server.

  3. Fill in your Server URL, Username, and Password.

  4. Click Save. It will automatically fetch the EPG (Guide) and channel logos.

💡 Apple-Specific Tips:

  • AirPlay: If you have an app on your iPhone but not on your TV, you can “AirPlay” the stream from your phone to your Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible Smart TV.

  • iCloud Sync: If you use IPTVX, you can set up your playlist on your iPhone, and it will automatically be ready on your Apple TV when you sign in.

  • Privacy: Unlike Android, iOS has very strict tracking protections. However, your ISP can still see your streaming traffic, so a VPN is still recommended for smoother, unthrottled playback.
